Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Orela ("Orela", "we", "us") is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME, registered address — to be completed when the operating entity is registered]. You can reach us at [support email]. These Terms are a contract between you and the operator. If you do not agree to them, do not use Orela.

2. Eligibility: adults only

Orela is an adults-only service. You may use it only if you are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority where you live, and only if viewing sexually explicit material is legal there. By entering you confirm all of this. Where the law requires it (for example the United Kingdom and certain U.S. states) we may require additional age verification before showing explicit content, and we may block access from some regions. If you are under 18, leave now.

3. What Orela is, and what it is not

Orela offers fictional AI companions for text chat, including flirtatious, romantic and sexually explicit roleplay between adults. Every companion is software. Even when a character stays in role and does not say so, nothing you talk to on Orela is a human being. All characters are fictional adults; artwork is AI-generated illustration and does not depict any real person. Any resemblance to a real person is unintended.

Replies are generated by language models and can be inaccurate, inconsistent or unexpected. Orela is entertainment. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for human relationships or professional care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately; Orela cannot help you in an emergency.

4. Accounts and guest access

You can use Orela without an account. In that case your balance, conversations and relationship progress are tied to a signed cookie on this browser ("guest access"). If that cookie is cleared or you change device, guest data cannot be recovered. Signing in with an email code or Discord attaches that data to an account so it follows you across devices; guest data is merged once, at first sign-in.

One person per account. Keep your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, that we reasonably believe belong to a minor, or where required for legal or safety reasons.

5. Acceptable use

Fictional roleplay between consenting adults is allowed, including explicit content. The following are prohibited on Orela, in any form, whether requested, written by you or produced by a companion at your direction:

• Any sexual content involving anyone under 18, or anyone presented, described or drawn as under 18, regardless of claimed age. • Sexual content involving real, identifiable people, including public figures, without their consent. • Content that presents non-consensual sexual violence, incest or bestiality as real or as something to be done; content that promotes self-harm, terrorism or violence against real people. • Using Orela to harass, threaten, defraud or stalk anyone, or to plan or commit a crime. • Attempting to bypass safety filters or age controls, scraping or automating access, reselling access, or reverse-engineering the service.

We use automated filters and human review of reported content. Messages that trip a filter may be blocked; blocked rounds are not charged. Repeated attempts lead to cooldowns and account closure. We report suspected child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

6. Crystals, purchases and payments

Fog crystals ("crystals") are a virtual balance used to pay for chat rounds. Crystals have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and are licensed to you, not owned. New users receive a small trial balance as a gift; it can be withdrawn or changed at any time.

Purchases are made through third-party payment processors or in cryptocurrency. Card payments are handled by a licensed processor; we never see your full card number. Cryptocurrency payments are final once confirmed on-chain. Prices are shown before you pay and may include taxes. We may change prices, packs and the cost of a chat round at any time; changes do not affect crystals already purchased.

Crystals are delivered instantly and are generally non-refundable once credited. Exceptions (duplicate charges, technical failures, unauthorized transactions and rights you have under local law) are described in the Refund Policy. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in suspension while we investigate. We may retire crystals as a product with at least 30 days' notice, during which you can spend your balance.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Orela name, brand, website, cast, character names, artwork and system prompts belong to the operator or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit them.

You keep ownership of the text you type. You grant us a licence to store and process it in order to run the service (including sending it to the model provider that generates replies). You may use companion replies for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not present AI output as written by a human or as real events. We may use de-identified, aggregated data to improve Orela. Deleting your account removes your conversations from our active systems as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Privacy

How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Availability, changes and termination

Orela is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted service, that a companion will remember everything or stay in character, or that any feature will remain available. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service.

You may stop using Orela at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, chargebacks, legal requirements or safety concerns. On termination for breach, unused crystals are forfeited except where the law requires otherwise.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Orela. Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the extent the law allows.

11. Reporting and complaints

To report content involving minors, real people, or any other violation, or to complain about a charge, write to [support email] with the character, approximate time and a description. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days. Rights holders may send takedown notices to the same address.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — to be set to the operating entity's jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the current version. For material changes we will show a notice on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, stop using Orela.
